# Api Get App Pdf

`GET /api/apps/{app_id}/pdf`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.getdot.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.getdot.ai/api/apps/{app_id}/pdf`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-KEY`
  - API key in cookie `Authorization`
  - OAuth 2 (password, token URL `/api/auth/token`)

Render the app to a PDF (headless Chromium) and stream it.

Reuses the view_app render surface: a short-lived token renders the real
light-theme embed, Chromium prints it, and a link points back to the live
report. The viewer's filter selections ride the query string so the export
is the view they are looking at, not the app's defaults. `pdf-layout` is
`pages` (A4, the default) or `one_page` (one page sized to the app).
