# Api App Column Lineage

`GET /api/apps/{app_id}/lineage/column`

## Request

Trace one output column of one query back to the source columns it came from.

The gesture behind a cited number. Computed on click for a single column — never for
every column at build (which is how column-level lineage turns a graph into a hairball).
