# Change a cadence frequency (v2)

`PATCH /v2/keep-in-touch/cadences/{cadenceId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prod.getdex.com`

Move a cadence to another frequency of the workspace; its due date is recomputed. A Team cadence needs owner, admin or standard; a My cadence must be the caller's own (another member's is a 404). 400 `frequency_not_found`. Workspace-only: send the `X-Dex-Workspace` header (400 `workspace_context_required` without it). **Requires an `Idempotency-Key` header**. Returns `{ data: { cadence: {...} } }`.
