# Create companies in bulk (v2)

`POST /v2/companies/batch`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prod.getdex.com`

Create up to 100 companies, all or nothing: one invalid company or website conflict (with an existing company or another in the batch) creates none. A website conflict is 409 with `details.existing_company_id` (null for a duplicate inside the batch) and `details.index`. Viewers are refused. Workspace-only: send the `X-Dex-Workspace` header (404 `record_not_found` without it). **Requires an `Idempotency-Key` header**. Returns `{ data: { companies: [...] } }` in request order with status 201.
