# Archive companies in bulk (v2)

`POST /v2/companies/batch-archive`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prod.getdex.com`
- URL: `https://api.prod.getdex.com/v2/companies/batch-archive`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Archive up to 100 companies (`company_ids`). IDs outside the workspace and companies already archived are skipped. Viewers are refused; closed to API keys. Workspace-only: send the `X-Dex-Workspace` header (404 `record_not_found` without it). **Requires an `Idempotency-Key` header**. Returns `{ data: { affected, ids } }` with the companies actually archived.
