# Delete a company (v2)

`DELETE /v2/companies/{companyId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.prod.getdex.com`
- URL: `https://api.prod.getdex.com/v2/companies/{companyId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently delete a company and its logo. Owners and admins only; closed to API keys. 404 `record_not_found` when it is not in the workspace. Workspace-only: send the `X-Dex-Workspace` header (404 `record_not_found` without it). `Idempotency-Key` is optional. Returns `{ data: { affected: 1, ids: [companyId] } }`.
