# Archive a company (v2)

`POST /v2/companies/{companyId}/archive`

## Request

Archive a company: it leaves the default list and stays readable by ID. Archiving an archived company changes nothing. Viewers are refused; closed to API keys. Workspace-only: send the `X-Dex-Workspace` header (404 `record_not_found` without it). `Idempotency-Key` is optional. Returns `{ data: { company: {...} } }`.
