# POST /recollection-case/{recollection_case_id}/close

`POST /recollection-case/{recollection_case_id}/close`

## Close a recollection case
Close a case once the debt is fully recovered. A closed case is no longer subject to the
recollection policy's next-action requirement (§5.8) — it needs no further busywork task.

## Path parameters

- `recollection_case_id` string, required

## Headers

- `X-Decision-Id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `400` — Missing `X-Decision-Id` header or value is not a valid UUID.
- `403` — Decision is not approved, the calling identity does not match the proposer, no planned operation matches this endpoint + payload, the matching step has already been executed, or the caller is not a recognised proposing Operator.
- `404` — No Decision exists for the supplied `X-Decision-Id`.
