# Mint a Gmail-embed token

`POST /v1/embed-token`

## Request

Mints a short-lived (10-minute) single-purpose token that the Dealboard for Gmail extension redeems at /api/embed/start to bootstrap an app session inside its sidebar iframe. The session belongs to the API key's creator, is re-checked against team membership at redemption, and is set as a partitioned cookie scoped to the Gmail embed only.
