# Build a research note

`POST /ask/report`

## Request

Builds Chord's three-page research note for a token (HTML → PDF in the browser, plus Markdown) and returns links good for seven days.

## Request body

- object
  - `token` string, required: Address or symbol on Arc.
  - `summary` string: Optional analyst text to place on the first page.

## Response `200`

- object
  - `id` string
  - `url` string: HTML.
  - `mdUrl` string: Markdown.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid parameters — `error` names the check that failed (`INVALID_PARAMS`, `BAD_ADDRESS`, `BAD_LIMIT`, `BAD_HOURS`, …).
- `401`: Missing or unknown credential (`UNAUTHORIZED`).
- `404`: Nothing at this identity (`NOT_FOUND`, `UNKNOWN_TOKEN`, `NO_ROUTE`).
- `429`: Over the per-minute limit (`RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED`). Read `X-RateLimit-Reset` and back off.
- `503`: The lane behind this endpoint is not ready or not enabled here (`NOT_READY`, `CHAIN_NOT_ENABLED`, `NOT_ENABLED`, `*_UNAVAILABLE`). Retry later; do not treat it as an empty answer.
