# Get Franchise Story

`GET /api/franchises/{name}/story`

A series' cover as its page shows it — its timeline where one is drawn
(`franchise_covers`), else its first game's — and, for the few with a
profile (`franchise_profiles`), the year it began and its story. 404 for
a name no game carries.

The story changes only with a deploy and the cover when a game joins the
series, so ten minutes in a browser's cache costs nothing.
