# Release

`POST /api/admin/social/posts/{post_id}/release`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getcheapgames.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.getcheapgames.com/api/admin/social/posts/{post_id}/release`
- Auth: none declared

Post it now: whatever of this post is still waiting falls due at once.

Released, not just re-dated. A delivery due now still waits out the gap
after its network's last post, goes behind anything older that is also
due, and — if the detector wrote it — waits for auto-posting to be turned
back on. `released_at` is how the claim knows a person asked for this one
(`gcg.social.queue.claim` says what that lets through, and what not).

The worker takes it on its next pass, `worker.PUBLISH_EVERY` apart. Only
what is still scheduled moves: a send in flight cannot be hurried, and
what went out, failed or was cancelled stays as it is.

## Path parameters

## Response `204`

## Other responses
