# Search Traces Route

`GET /v1/traces/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.getbluejay.ai`
- URL: `https://api.getbluejay.ai/v1/traces/search`
- Auth: `HTTPBearer` (a scheme the document does not define)

## Query parameters

- `has_error` boolean, nullable: Only traces with (true) or without (false) an errored span
- `service_name` string, nullable: Service of the trace's root span
- `root_span_name` string, nullable: Name of the trace's root span
- `error_span_name` string, nullable: Only traces where a span with this name errored
- `since` string, date-time, nullable: Start of the window, default 7 days before until
- `until` string, date-time, nullable: End of the window, default 7 days after since or now
- `group_by` 'service_name' | 'root_span_name' | 'error_span_name' | 'day' | 'hour', nullable: Return counts per group instead of traces
- `limit` integer: Traces, or groups when group_by is set
