# Update media governance configuration

`PUT /api/v1/media-governance/config`

Updates media governance configuration. Enterprise tier only.
Community and Evaluation tiers receive a 403 TIER_RESTRICTED response.
System media policies are stored in the legacy `dynamic_policies`
table. Before v11 they were toggled on or off, on every tier, through
the Tenant Policy API (`/api/v1/tenant-policies`, deprecated spelling
`/api/v1/dynamic-policies`); in v11 that write answers
`409 LEGACY_POLICY_WRITE_FROZEN`, because `migrations/core/172` made the
table read-only to the application roles.

## Request body

- MediaGovernanceConfigUpdate
  - `enabled` boolean: Enable or disable media governance
  - `allowed_analyzers` string[]: Restrict to specific analyzer types

## Response `200`

Updated configuration

- MediaGovernanceConfig
  - `tenant_id` string: Tenant identifier
  - `enabled` boolean: Whether media governance is enabled for this tenant
  - `allowed_analyzers` string[]: List of allowed analyzer types (empty means all available)
  - `updated_at` string, date-time: Last update timestamp
  - `updated_by` string: User who last updated the configuration

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request (coded envelope)
- `401`: Unauthorized - missing or invalid organization scope (coded envelope)
- `403`: Forbidden - insufficient permissions or enterprise license required (coded envelope)
- `500`: Internal server error (coded envelope)
