# Get board identity fields

`GET /api/board/{boardId}/configuration/theme`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://core-api.getaptly.com`

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-token`
  - HTTP bearer

Returns the board's display name, color, icon, description, and short code.

## Path parameters

- `boardId` string, required

## Response `200`

Board identity fields.

- object
  - `data` object
    - `name` string
    - `cardName` string
    - `color` string: Hex color for the board gradient.
    - `icon` string
    - `description` string
    - `shortCode` string: Up to 5-character uppercase alphanumeric code.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key.
- `404`: Board not found.
