# Archive a card

`DELETE /api/board/{boardId}/{cardId}`

## Request

Archives the card. This is a soft delete — the card is never removed, only marked
archived (same as the "Delete" action in the Aptly UI, which archives rather than
hard-deletes).

- `cardId` string, required

## Response `200`

Card archived.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key.
- `403`: API access is disabled for this board.
- `404`: Card not found.
