# Create Agent In Chat Group

`POST /api/v1/chat-ai/agent-groups/{group_id}/agents`

Create a specialist agent and append it to the group in one call.

## Path parameters

- `group_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ChatAgentCreateInGroup — Create a new specialist chat agent and add it to a group in one call. ``name`` is the new agent's (tenant-unique) name; ``label``/``description`` describe the group entry the head routes by. ``system_prompt``/``model`` seed the agent and fall back to the ``ChatAgent`` column defaults when omitted.

    - `dispatch_config` ChatDispatchConfig — Operator-configurable dispatch behavior for a specialist entry. Lives on the TARGET entry — it describes how the head agent should dispatch TO this specialist. Mirrors the text surface's ``DispatchScenarioConfig``.

## Other responses

- `400` — A chat agent with this name already exists in the tenant
- `403` — Not a platform super-admin (or lacks VIEW_CHAT)
- `404` — Chat agent group not found
- `422` — Validation Error
