# Create Business Note

`POST /api/v1/businesses/{business_id}/notes`

## Path parameters

- `business_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- CustomerNoteCreate — Body for creating a note. The target comes from the path, not the body.
  - `body` string, required

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- CustomerNoteRead — A note as returned to the client. ``author_name`` is joined in from the ``user`` table so the UI can show who wrote it without a second lookup; it is null when the author account is gone (``author_user_id`` SET NULL on user delete).
