# Unmerge Customer Profile

`POST /api/v1/report-ai/customer-profiles/merges/{merge_id}/unmerge`

Reverse a merge, addressed by its ledger id (#2070). Idempotency is
guarded: a merge already undone returns 400, not a second reversal.

- `400`: Merge or unmerge cannot proceed as asked: a profile merged into itself, a survivor or loser that is already a tombstone, or a merge already undone.
- `404`: No such merge in this tenant.
- `422`: Validation Error
