# Update Provider Profile

`PUT /api/v1/admin/voice-platform/provider-profiles/{profile_id}`

## Path parameters

- `profile_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ProviderProfileUpdate — Full update of a provider profile (PUT semantics). Credentials rotate as a unit: provide BOTH ``sip_username`` and ``sip_password`` to rewrite the Parameter Store secret, or omit BOTH to leave the existing credential untouched. Providing exactly one is rejected.
  - `name` string, required — Human-readable label for the profile
  - `provider` 'telnyx' | 'zadarma' | 'twilio', required — SIP telephony carriers a provider profile can describe.
  - `tenant_id` string, uuid, nullable — Owner tenant. Omit/null for the platform-wide default profile.
  - `sip_host` string, required — SIP endpoint host, e.g. sip.telnyx.com
  - `sip_username` string, nullable — New SIP username; provide with sip_password to rotate credentials
  - `sip_password` string, nullable — New SIP password; provide with sip_username to rotate credentials

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ProviderProfileRead — Non-secret view of a provider profile. Never exposes the credential value.

  - `provider` 'telnyx' | 'zadarma' | 'twilio', required — SIP telephony carriers a provider profile can describe.
  - `tenant_id` string, uuid, nullable, required
  - `sip_host` string, required

## Other responses

- `404` — Provider profile not found
- `409` — A profile already exists for this provider + tenant
- `422` — Validation Error
