# Set or clear the Contacted flag

`PATCH /api/v1/bookings/{id}/contacted`

First-class replacement for the '✅ CONTACTÉ' internal-note workaround. `contacted:true` stamps `contacted_at` + `contacted_by` (+ optional `channel`); `contacted:false` clears all three. Idempotent — re-marking an already-contacted booking changes nothing and returns the current state. Real transitions are written to the tamper-evident audit log. An optional `note` also appends a BookingNote.
