# Create an API key (browser session required; the raw key is returned exactly once)

`POST /api/keys`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://geo-parity.com`
- URL: `https://geo-parity.com/api/keys`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in query parameter `key`

## Response `201`

{ ok: true, id, key, prefix } — store `key` now; it is never shown again.

## Other responses

- `401`: Not signed in.
- `422`: TOO_MANY_KEYS — revoke one first (max 5).
