# Employer cost of a hire, or a ranking by employer contribution rate

## Request

Gross wage plus the employer's social security contributions at OECD Taxing Wages' published rate (single, no children, 100% of average wage), applied as a flat rate. `gross` is annual USD; without it the wage is the pay-range midpoint for the occupation and seniority and `basis` says whether it is measured or modelled. Without `country`, ranks the spine by employer contribution rate. 25 spine countries; the rest return 422 NO_DATA rather than a 0% rate. Not payroll or legal advice.

## Response `200`

Cost breakdown or ranking, with caveats and an attribution block

## Other responses

- `400`: Non-positive gross (INVALID_PARAM) or an unrecognised occupation/seniority id (INVALID_OCCUPATION, INVALID_SENIORITY)
- `422`: Country not on the spine (UNKNOWN_COUNTRY) or not covered by OECD (NO_DATA)
