# Reads a published source

`GET /sources/{publicKey}`

What it is, under which license, where it runs, every version kept and what each changed - and a `starTicket` to star it with.

## Path parameters

## Response `200`

The source, its versions and a ticket to star it with

- SourceProjectResponse: A published source with its history.
  - `Source` SourceEntryResponse: A published source, as the listing shows it.
    - `PublicKey` string: The public key of the lambda
    - `Title` string, nullable: What its owner calls it in the showcase, where it is in the showcase
    - `About` string, nullable: What its newest version says it is: the first paragraph of its `docs/product.md`
    - `Description` string, nullable: What its owner says about it in the showcase, where it is there
    - `License` LicenseResponse: A license a source can be published under.
      - `Id` string: Its SPDX identifier, which is how it is asked for: `MIT`, `Apache-2.0`, `GPL-3.0-or-later` …
      - `Name` string: Its full name
      - `Kind` string: `Permissive`, `Copyleft` or `PublicDomain` - roughly what it asks of whoever reuses the code
      - `Url` string: Where it is described in full
    - `Stars` integer: How many visitors starred it
    - `Online` boolean: Whether the app answers right now
    - `Address` string: Where the app answers - its own domain while it has one, its address below the hosting domain otherwise
    - `Path` string: Where its source is read on this site: `/source/{publicKey}`
    - `ImagePath` string, nullable: Its picture in the showcase, where it has one
    - `LatestVersion` integer, nullable: Its newest version
    - `Updated` string, date-time, nullable: When its newest version was saved
    - `PublishedAt` string, date-time: When its source was published
  - `Author` string, nullable: Who holds the copyright, where the owner named somebody
  - `Holder` string: Who the license names as holding it: the author, or the authors of the lambda
  - `ActiveVersion` integer, nullable: The version online, if one is
  - `Created` string, date-time: When the lambda was created
  - `Versions` SourceVersionResponse[]: Every version kept, newest first: what each changed, never what was asked for
    - `Version` integer: Its number
    - `Created` string, date-time: When it was saved
    - `Change` string, nullable: What it changed, in a line
    - `Origin` string, nullable: How it was saved: `template`, `api`, `agent` or `git`
    - `Online` boolean: Whether it is the version online
    - `ZipPath` string: Where it is downloaded as a project
  - `StarTicket` string: What starring it is sent with (`POST …/star`): good from a second after it was handed out, for a day
  - `GitPath` string: Where it is cloned with git on this site - every version, read only

## Other responses

- `204`: A response containing no body
- `404`: There is no published source at this public key - it does not exist, or its owner has not published it, which are answered alike.
