# Puts a lambda into the showcase

`PUT /lambdas/{privateKey}/showcase`

Or changes what its entry says. A new entry needs a picture: a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP image, base64 encoded, no larger than the limits say. A
changed entry keeps its picture unless another is sent. The title (60 characters, one line) and the description
(280 characters) are required either way, and should read plainly: what it is and what a visitor can do with it.
The entry is listed from now on, while the lambda is online.

- ShowcaseRequest: What a showcase entry should say.
  - `Title` string, nullable: What it is called, on one line
  - `Description` string, nullable: What it is, and what a visitor can do with it
  - `Image` string, nullable: The picture, base64 encoded: a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP image. Required for a new entry; left out, the one there is kept.

## Response `200`

- ShowcaseResponse: A lambda in the showcase, as the showcase lists it.
  - `PublicKey` string: The public key of the lambda
  - `Title` string: What its owner calls it
  - `Description` string: What its owner says it is, and what a visitor can do with it
  - `Address` string: Where it answers - its own domain while it has one, its address below the hosting domain otherwise
  - `ImagePath` string: Where its picture is on this site; it changes with the picture, so it may be cached for good
  - `ImageType` string: The media type of the picture: `image/png`, `image/jpeg`, `image/gif` or `image/webp`
  - `ImageBytes` integer: How large the picture is, in bytes
  - `Online` boolean: Whether the lambda answers right now - the listing only has those
  - `Created` string, date-time: When it was put into the showcase
  - `Updated` string, date-time: When its entry last changed

## Other responses

- `204`: A response containing no body
- `400`: The title or the description is missing or too long, or the picture is missing, too large, not base64 or not an image of a kind that is taken.
- `403`: The lambda is a demo, which anybody may read and nobody may change. Create a lambda of your own from it instead: `POST /lambdas` with the demo's id as `template`.
- `404`: No lambda has this editor key. A key that never existed and the key of a deleted lambda are answered alike.
