# Estimate SRT Cost

`POST /v1/tts/max/srt/estimate`

Validate an SRT file and return its cue count, billable characters and cost **without creating a task**. Free.
> **Rate limit:** 60 requests/minute (shared with `/estimate`)

Estimate

  - `cues` integer
  - `characters` integer
  - `cost` integer: Credits the SRT task would cost

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid SRT or cue limits
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
