# Add Watchlist Item

POST /api/v1/markets/watchlist {"variety": str}
Add a price-index variety to the caller's watchlist. The variety must
exist in price_index_daily (matched case-insensitively, stored in its
canonical casing) — 422 otherwise. Idempotent: re-adding an already
watched variety returns the existing item.
