# Import Market Data

`POST /api/v1/market/import`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.gemstoneaiapp.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Import gemstone market data from CSV or Excel file.
Admin-only (X-Admin-Key). Upserts the rows behind the Markets tab and
scan valuations, so an unauthenticated caller could rewrite pricing.

For Excel: Merges data from multiple sheets:
- "Description": Textual characteristics, value drivers, market dynamics, insights.
- "Price v2": Pricing, historical avgs, event notes.

Expected columns match sheet headers (see schema aliases).
Merges on 'Variety'; partial data is handled gracefully.
