# Delete Gemstone

`DELETE /api/v1/gems/{gem_id}`

DELETE /api/v1/gems/{id} - Delete gemstone

Deletes a gemstone and all its associated images.
Only the owner of the gemstone can delete it.

Args:
    gem_id: ID of the gemstone to delete

Returns:
    GemstoneDeleteResponse: Success status and deletion details

Raises:
    HTTPException 400: Invalid gemstone ID format
    HTTPException 404: Gemstone not found or unauthorized
    HTTPException 500: Database error
