# Record Coverage Intent

`POST /api/v1/coverage/intent`

## Request

Record that a user wants a catalogued piece covered or appraised.

Idempotent per (user, piece, kind): tapping twice refreshes the row rather
than counting twice.

  - `kind` string, required: coverage | appraisal
  - `gemstone_id` integer, nullable: Omit for a whole-collection intent
  - `note` string, nullable
