`GET /v1/fundingamount/{symbol}`

## Path parameters

- `symbol` string, required

## Response `200`

The response will be an object

- FundingAmountResponse
  - `symbol` string: The requested symbol. See [**symbols and minimums**](/market-data/symbols-and-minimums#all-supported-symbols)
  - `fundingDateTime` string: UTC date time in format `yyyy-MM-ddThh:mm:ss.SSSZ` format
  - `fundingTimestampMilliSecs` number: Current funding amount Epoc time.
  - `nextFundingTimestamp` number: Next funding amount Epoc time.
  - `amount` number: The dollar amount for a Long 1 position held in the symbol for funding period (1 hour)
  - `estimatedFundingAmount` number: The estimated dollar amount for a Long 1 position held in the symbol for next funding period (1 hour)

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - malformed request or invalid parameters
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Too many requests - you have exceeded the rate limit
- `500`: Internal server error
