# Purge Chat Session By User

`DELETE /api/v1/chat/sessions/{session_id}/purge/user`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.gemina.co` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.gemina.co/api/v1/chat/sessions/{session_id}/purge/user`
- Auth: OAuth 2 (password, token URL `token`)

Console-signed-in equivalent of ``purge_chat_session``. IRREVERSIBLE.

Same semantics and the same refusal of retrieval tokens; this variant
authenticates with the console JWT instead of an API key, mirroring the
documents purge convention.

## Path parameters

- `session_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Successful Response

## Other responses

- `404`: The resource does not exist, or is not visible to the caller. Ownership failures are deliberately indistinguishable from a missing resource.
- `422`: Request validation failed (`HTTPValidationError`), or the request was understood but cannot be applied — e.g. the extraction is under legal hold or did not complete successfully (`FoundationDTO`).
