# Get Token

`GET /token`

> **Deprecated.**

Issue an access token for the caller, optionally scoped to one of their organizations.

The organization may be named by id or by slug, but not both. When neither is given, the token is
scoped to whichever organization the caller is a member of.

## Query parameters

- `organization_id` string, uuid4, nullable
- `organization_slug` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- GetTokenResponse
  - `access_token` string, required
  - `token_type` string
  - `expires_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `422` — Validation Error
