# Cancel Transfer

`POST /cancelTransfer`

Use the Cancel Transfer endpoint to cancel an outgoing transfer that was initiated by <a href="ref:payhub_post_createTransfer" target="_blank">Create Transfer</a>.

Transfers must be in a `POSTED` status to be eligible for cancellation.

  - `accountNo` string, required: The <<glossary:PRN>> associated with the outgoing transfer to cancel.
  - `transferId` string, required: Unique identifier of the transfer to cancel. Pattern: Alphanumeric string Example: `TXN-12345ABCDE`

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- object
  - `transferId` string, required: The unique identifier for the cancelled transfer.
  - `reverseAdjustmentId` string, nullable, required: The unique identifier for the reversed adjustment transaction.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: No valid API credentials provided.
- `403`: The provided API credential does not allow this operation.
- `404`: Not Found
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: Too many requests.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
- `502`: Bad Gateway.
- `503`: Service Unavailable.
