# Reset stream key

`POST /v1/tokens/{tokenName}/reset-key`

## Request

Reset the RTMPS stream key for a token

## Response `200`

Stream key reset successfully; new credentials are returned in the success envelope.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - missing or invalid JWT token in Authorization header
- `403`: Forbidden - user lacks RESET_STREAM_KEY permission or user is banned
- `404`: Token not found - tokenName does not match any existing pool
- `500`: Internal server error - Mux API failure or database error while resetting stream key
- `default`: Shared error envelope for stream key reset failures.
