## Request

Execute a composite eval configuration without persisting it. Used by
the eval create page so users can test a composite (selected children +
aggregation settings) before clicking Save. Builds an unsaved parent
template and unsaved child links in memory and reuses
`execute_composite_children_sync` so semantics match the persisted path.
