# Initiate or re-initiate authentication for a connector.

`POST /falcon-ai/mcp-connectors/{connector_id}/authenticate/`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:8000`
- URL: `http://localhost:8000/falcon-ai/mcp-connectors/{connector_id}/authenticate/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`
  - API key in header `X-Secret-Key`

For OAuth connectors, returns the authorization URL to open in a browser.
For API key connectors, tests the connection and returns status.
