# A smart column's definition and run state

`GET /business/lists/{listId}/smart-columns/{columnId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tryfuse.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.tryfuse.ai/api/v1/business/lists/{listId}/smart-columns/{columnId}`
- Auth: HTTP basic

The column's stored definition and run state: its prompt, engine and any Deep Research provider restriction (`providerIds`, null when the column may use every provider), plus what a re-run would cost — `refreshableRowCount` rows (computed cells plus cells a cancelled run left pending or running) at `creditsPerRow` credits each — and `hasActiveJob`, true while a run is pending or processing (starting another run or editing the prompt cancels it). Only smart columns answer here; a plain custom column id is a 404. Free to call.

Errors:
- `404` `LIST_NOT_FOUND` — No list with that id belongs to you.
- `404` `COLUMN_NOT_FOUND` — No smart column with that id is on this list (a plain custom column answers this too).
- `422` `VALIDATION_FAILED` — The path, query or body failed validation; `param` names the offending field and `message` says why.
- `429` `RATE_LIMITED` — More than 120 requests per minute or 10,000 per day on the lists bucket, which every /business/lists endpoint shares; retry after Retry-After.
- `500` `UNEXPECTED_ERROR` — The request could not be completed; quote request_id to support.

Requires one of the following token scopes: lists.

- `listId` string, required: Id of the list that owns the smart column.
- `columnId` string, required: Id of the smart column, as returned when it was created or listed by GET /business/lists/{listId}/columns.

    - `providerIds` string[], nullable, required: Deep Research provider slugs this column is restricted to; null when it may use every provider available to your workspace.
    - `refreshableRowCount` integer, required: Rows a prompt edit or a `mode: all` rerun would recompute (upper bound).
    - `creditsPerRow` integer, required: Credits charged per computed row: the rate of the latest run, or the engine's current rate if the column has not run yet.
    - `hasActiveJob` boolean, required: True while a run is pending or processing.
