# Reject a Core application-approval application

`POST /v1/admin/application/{applicationId}/reject`

Marks the application rejected and publishes `application-rejected`. An already-rejected application returns 400 (mapped to invalidRequest).

## Path parameters

- `applicationId` integer, required

## Response `204`

- `401` — The access to this resource has been denied
- `403` — The access to this resource is forbidden
- `404` — The resource was not found
- `429` — A service error has occurred
