# Dated evidence for one company

`POST /v1/agent/why_now`

Resolve a domain to a company and return its dated evidence, newest first. `resolved: false` means no company on the Fundz spine matches — different from a company with no recent events, which returns `resolved: true` and a `coverage_note`.

## Request body

  - `domain` string: Any spelling: bare, www., scheme, path.
  - `org_id` integer
  - `lookback_days` integer: Window for `evidence[]`, in days. Clamped to 1825. Does not affect `last_event`, which is never age-limited.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request body is not valid JSON, or a parameter is unusable.
- `401`: No API key, or a key that is unknown, revoked or expired. A human must supply a new key; retrying will not help.
- `402`: The key's monthly unit allowance is spent. Valid key, exhausted plan — a plan change, not a new key.
- `403`: The tool exists but this key's tier may not call it.
- `404`: No such tool. Check the spelling before checking permissions.
- `429`: Per-minute rate limit exceeded. Back off and retry.
- `500`: Our fault. The call is recorded at ZERO units — we do not bill for our own failures.
