# Update a full routing input material for a quote part line item. Omitting routingStepId clears the material's operation.

- QuotePartLineItemFullRoutingInputMaterialUpdateDto: Update an input material on a quote part line item's routing
  - `costing` 'fullCost' | 'usageBased', required: Specifies the costing of the material.
  - `routingStepId` string, nullable: The routing step id. This value should be the Id of an operation on the routing being edited, as returned by the quote part line item routing's operations/list.

The input material was updated on the line item's routing
