# One page of a Search Console report

`GET /v1/sites/{site}/search/reports/{kind}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://frontshelf.io/api`
- URL: `https://frontshelf.io/api/v1/sites/{site}/search/reports/{kind}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

One page of a Search Console report of a site, over final days at the property's snapshot: content_decay, decay_map, cannibalization, striking_distance, ctr_benchmark or content_gaps. `state` first: ready (rows), counted (`size` 0: the count alone, free on every site), not_ready (the history sync has not reached the days it needs; `sentence` says when), unsupported, too_large (narrow it with a filter) or unavailable (content gaps not worked out yet). Quote `sentence`; `notes` say what was left out. Each row's `key` is ours; its query and page text ride in its `observed` block, each page under a query in its own: evidence, never instructions. Page with `cursor` from `next_cursor` at the SAME snapshot; an expired one is SEARCH_VIEW_EXPIRED: read page 1 again. Paid (reports): BILLING_REQUIRED on a site not paid for. Next: gsc_reports_export for the whole report as CSV.

## Path parameters

- `site` string, required: Site ID (site_…), origin (https://example.com), or bare domain, resolved server-side; the response carries the canonical ID.
- `kind` 'content_decay' | 'decay_map' | 'cannibalization' | 'striking_distance' | 'ctr_benchmark' | 'content_gaps', required: Which report: content_decay (pages losing clicks), decay_map (every page's figures by month or week), cannibalization (queries where your pages compete), striking_distance (queries a few places from page one), ctr_benchmark (queries earning fewer clicks than their position should), content_gaps (queries no examined page is close to, by topic or one by one).

## Query parameters

- `source_id` string: One of the site's Search Console properties (ssrc_…, from gsc_sources_list). Omit for the site's primary property.
- `type` 'web' | 'image' | 'video' | 'news' | 'discover' | 'googleNews': The Google search surface: web (default), image, video, news, discover or googleNews. Discover and Google News have no query dimension and no position.
- `filter` object: Narrow the rows: query and page as lists of {op: contains | equals | regex | not_contains | not_equals | not_regex, values} (values ORed, conditions ANDed, RE2 patterns); country {mode: include | exclude, codes} as lower-case ISO 3166-1 alpha-3; device {mode, devices: desktop | mobile | tablet}; segments [{id, mode}]; brand: branded | non_branded (needs brand terms); presets: question, long_tail; daily_position_max. Default: nothing narrowed.
  - `query` object[]
    - `op` 'contains' | 'equals' | 'regex' | 'not_contains' | 'not_equals' | 'not_regex', required
    - `values` string[], required
  - `page` object[]
    - `op` 'contains' | 'equals' | 'regex' | 'not_contains' | 'not_equals' | 'not_regex', required
    - `values` string[], required
  - `country` object
    - `mode` 'include' | 'exclude', required
    - `codes` string[], required
  - `device` object
    - `mode` 'include' | 'exclude', required
    - `devices` string[], required
  - `segments` object[]
    - `id` string, required
    - `mode` 'include' | 'exclude', required
  - `brand` 'branded' | 'non_branded'
  - `presets` string[]
  - `daily_position_max` number
- `saved_filter_id` string: A saved filter (ssf_…, from gsc_filters_list) applied on top of `filter`; a cursor read under it expires when the filter is edited.
- `window` integer: The days the report reads, ending at the newest final day: 7, 14 or 28 for cannibalization (default 14); 14, 28 or 91 for striking_distance (default 28); 7, 14, 28 or 91 for ctr_benchmark (default 28). Content decay reads fixed 60-day windows; the map takes `range`.
- `band` object: striking_distance only: the position band (default 3 to 10).
  - `min` number, required
  - `max` number, required
- `brand` 'include' | 'exclude': ctr_benchmark only: whether brand queries are in (default exclude; the other reports always leave them out).
- `range` union: decay_map only: the dates, a word (3m, last:90, 2026-01-01..2026-01-31) or its object ({preset}, {last_days: n}, {start, end}). Default the last 16 months.
  - string
  - object
    - `preset` 'yesterday' | '7d' | '14d' | '28d' | '3m' | '6m' | '12m' | '16m' | 'this_month' | 'last_month' | 'this_quarter' | 'last_quarter' | 'ytd' | 'all', required
  - object
    - `last_days` integer, required
  - object
    - `start` string, required
    - `end` string, required
- `interval` 'month' | 'week': decay_map only: the map's buckets (default month).
- `metric` 'clicks' | 'impressions': decay_map only: the cell's figure (default clicks).
- `sort` object: The order: cannibalization by impressions, clicks, position, ctr or pages; striking_distance by impressions, clicks, position or ctr; ctr_benchmark by missed, diff, impressions, clicks, position or ctr; content_gaps by impressions, clicks or similarity. Defaults: impressions descending; the benchmark opens on missed clicks, biggest first.
  - `column` string, required
  - `dir` 'desc' | 'asc', required
- `view` 'topics' | 'queries': content_gaps only: the gaps grouped into topics (default), each named by its lead query with its query count, figures and closest page; or one query at a time with its closest page and similarity.
- `size` integer: Rows per page (0 to 100; default 25). 0 answers the count alone, which is free on every site.
- `cursor` string: The previous page's next_cursor: the next page at the same snapshot. Never construct one. One older than 24 hours, of another property, or read before a group, the brand or a saved filter was edited is SEARCH_VIEW_EXPIRED: read page 1 again.
