# Get carrier metadata by SCAC code

`GET /v2.0/carriers/{scac}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.freightview.dev`
- URL: `https://api.freightview.dev/v2.0/carriers/{scac}`
- Auth: OAuth 2 (client credentials, token URL `/v2.0/auth/token`)

This endpoint returns carrier metadata including the carrier name and available services.

  - `name` string: The carrier name.
  - `services` object[]: List of available services.
    - `id` string: The service ID.
    - `name` string: The service name.
    - `workflow` string: The workflow applicable for the service. (e.g. `ltl`, `parcel`).
    - `guaranteed` boolean: An indicator to show whether this is a guaranteed service. (Only available on LTL workflow services).
    - `guaranteedByTime` string: For guaranteed services, the time by which delivery is guaranteed (HH:MM format). (Only available on LTL workflow services).

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `402`: Payment Required
- `404`: Not Found
- `429`: Rate Limit Exceeded
- `500`: Internal Server Error
