# Suggest new topic clusters for a site

`POST /clusters/suggest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://next.frase.io/api/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Propose new topic clusters for a site, reasoning from the org's existing cluster taxonomy plus unclustered brief topics and content titles as demand signals. Returns an empty array when the site has no signals to reason from.

## Request body

  - `site_id` string, uuid, required: Required. The site to suggest clusters for.

## Response `200`

Ranked cluster suggestions

- object
  - `data` object[]
    - `name` string: Proposed cluster name.
    - `pillar_topic` string: The pillar topic the cluster would be built around.
    - `suggested_content` string[]: Suggested supporting article topics.
    - `confidence` number: Model confidence in the suggestion, 0-1.
  - `request_id` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failed
- `401`: Authentication failed
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limited, or the org's monthly brief limit blocked minting the refreshed brief (only the FIRST supersession of a brief is billing-exempt; repeats meter normally)
