# Create a Stripe Checkout session (humans)

`POST /v1/checkout`

Opens a hosted Stripe Checkout session for a prepaid credit pack. Bigger packs carry a bonus: '5' -> $5 for 5,000,000 micros (no bonus), '20' -> $20 for 21,000,000 micros (+5%), '100' -> $100 for 112,000,000 micros (+12%). Also collects a VAT/Tax ID (tax_id_collection) and always issues an invoice with a reverse-charge footer for B2B buyers, and saves the card for future use by POST /v1/billing/auto-topup.
