# Get test passcode

`GET /v1/signatures/{signatureId}/otp`

<strong>Sandbox environment only:</strong> Use this endpoint to get a one-time passcode to confirm a test signature, <strong>without</strong> requiring a valid mobile phone number. The signature status must be `confirmation_required`. <br /><br /><img src="https://files.readme.io/310d4d3-Inline_Caution.svg" align="left" alt="Important" /> **Important:** If you have <strong>InfoCert</strong> configured as one of your <a href="https://docs.fourthline.com/docs/qes-integration#qtsps">QTSPs</a>, you <strong>do not</strong> need to make this request because the passcode is the same as the last 8 digits of the mobile phone number. <br /><br />Example: <br />• Phone number: +39 11111112222 <br />• Passcode: 11112222 <br /><br /><img src="https://files.readme.io/8eb9022-Inline_Tip.svg" align="left" alt="Tip" /> **Tip:** To automate testing the signature flow, in the <a href="ref:upload-mobile-phone-number">Upload mobile phone number</a> request, provide a dummy mobile phone number in the following format: <br />`+39 111111234567`. You can change the digits `234567` as required.

## Response `200`

The test passcode was retrieved successfully

  - `otp` string: The test one-time passcode (`otp`) to provide in the [Confirm signature](ref:confirm-signature) request.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `404`: Specified resource does not exist
- `503`: The service is temporarily unavailable
