# Confirm signature

`POST /v1/signatures/{signatureId}/confirm`

## Request

Use this endpoint to validate the one-time passcode and confirm the signature. <br /><br /><img src="https://files.readme.io/310d4d3-Inline_Caution.svg" align="left" alt="Important" /> **Important:** <br />• Before using this endpoint, see the <a href="https://docs.fourthline.com/docs/qes-integration">integration guide</a>. <br />• <code>signatureId</code> and <code>workflowId</code> are string identifiers that can be used interchangeably.

## Path parameters

- `signatureId` string, required

## Headers

- `Authorization` string, required: The `access_token` returned in your most recent [Create access token](ref:create-access-token) response.

## Request body

- object
  - `otp` string, required: The one-time passcode the client entered to confirm the signature.

## Response `202`

Signature confirmation accepted

- object
  - `attemptId` string: The unique identifier for this signature confirmation attempt.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request parameters
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: The request could not be processed
- `429`: Retry attempts exceeded
