# GET /v1/storage

`GET /v1/storage`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `__Secure-better-auth.session_token`

Bytes of mail the organisation holds right now, per mailbox and in total.

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.

- OrgStorage: What the organisation holds, in bytes, and where it is — as its mailboxes last reported, at most an hour ago. Compare against `Billing.capacityBytes`. `mailboxes` is largest first.
  - `bytes` integer, required: Every mailbox summed.
  - `mailboxes` MailboxStorage[], required
    - `id` string, required
    - `label` string, required
    - `bytes` integer, required: What it counts toward the allowance: each email and draft at its size but at least 10 KB, and files uploaded into drafts at their size.
    - `fill` number, double, required: How full the mailbox's own store is, from 0 to 1 — never the allowance.
    - `fullness` 'open' | 'warn' | 'sends_refused' | 'inbound_refused' | 'deferring', required: How near a mailbox is to the most one mailbox can hold — its own ceiling, apart from the plan's allowance. `warn` past 75% (a second mailbox is the way on); beyond it, sending is refused, then new mail is refused for now, then mail already accepted waits.

## Other responses

- `default`: An unexpected error response.
