# GET /v1/invites/{token}

`GET /v1/invites/{token}`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `__Secure-better-auth.session_token`

What an invitation is to. The caller must be signed in as the invited address.

## Path parameters

- `token` string, required

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.

- InvitePreview: What an invitation is TO, for the page that asks somebody to accept it. ⛔ The stranger's dry run (2026-10-19): the accept page asked a person to join "an organisation" without ever saying which. The email's subject named it; the page they landed on did not.
  - `organisationName` string, required: The inviting organisation's name.
  - `role` 'admin' | 'member', required
  - `expiresAt` string, date-time, required
