# POST /v1/deletion

`POST /v1/deletion`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `__Secure-better-auth.session_token`

Schedule the organisation's deletion, seven days from now. Cancellable until it starts.

## Request body

- DeletionRequest: The organisation's slug, typed back: the one irreversible act asks which organisation it is.
  - `confirmSlug` string, required

## Response `201`

The request has succeeded and a new resource has been created as a result.

- Deletion
  - `scheduledFor` string, date-time, required: When it runs: seven days after it was asked for.
  - `started` boolean, required: It has begun, and can no longer be cancelled.

## Other responses

- `default`: An unexpected error response.
